Share Los Angeles, CA - The Discovery Eye Foundation is hosting the 6th Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful Newport Beach Country Club, home of the Toshiba Senior Classic, on Monday, July 21, 2008. This fun-filled day will include a barbeque lunch, a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m., and an 18-hole scramble with special challenges arranged across the course. There will also be a delicious dinner, an awards program for the day’s
champions and a silent and live auction with very unique items on which to bid. The golf tournament will benefit The Discovery Eye Foundation.

The Discovery Eye Foundation, a national foundation that was founded in 1970 by Rita and Morris S. Pynoos, plays a vital role in the research of eye disease. Through corneal and retinal research at the University of California, Irvine's Morris S. Pynoos Laboratories, as well as patient advocacy and education, The Discovery Eye Foundation helps individuals and their families cope with vision loss.
